Celiac is a disease that is more commonly known as gluten free. Being gluten free means being allergic to wheat. Wheat is a main ingredient in many foods including cakes, cookies, dressings and especially bread. There are many many more things that a person diagnosed with Celiac disease is allergic to but sometimes others are allergic to more like soy, rye and glucose and more. When i say it is a ‘disease’ it is nothing contagious but it can be life treating but thats in only severe case. Now a days gluten free is a life style for some people and many places cater for gluten free. They now have gluten free bread, cakes, cookies and much more!
